Lisbon Maru Memorial Dedication

Remembrance Service held at the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA)

This event; 'The Queens Regiment Reunion at the National Memorial Arboretum' was organised by ex 1 Queen's Den Gallacher and was well attended.


21st August

Imber Village Tour

For the first time for some years access to Imber Village via a fleet of classic double decker buses took place on Sat 21 Aug. (Absolutely no other type of transport was allowed on this day.) This outing departed from Warminster station.

“The Unworthy, Worthwhile War: Korea 1950-1953"

Col (retd) Rex Cain OBE, Middlesex Regiment in conversation with (Colonel PWRR) Lt Gen Doug Chalmers DSO OBE Col (retd) Rex Cain OBE joined the Battalion in Korea.

Free Online Talk from the National Army Museum

Deputy Colonel (Heritage) PWRR, Colonel Patrick Crowley, gave a talk on the heritage of the Regiment, remotely, for the National Army Museum.

The talk was based on the new book, ‘Infantry Die Hards; The Anatomy of a Regiment'.
